GESTURAL STRUCTURE
Solo exhibition at the boundaries of arts and Design at Atelier KSR, in Berlin 2012.
After two weeks of residency in the gallery devoted to research and the production of works on site, we developed and pursued our idea of a structural alphabet : a dialogue between construction (structure) and language (alphabet).
Gestural structure has been conceived as a scene for a variety of experiments. I worked with two other artists, Clemence de la Tour du Pin, artist and Louis-Clément da Costa, contemporary dancer.
we explored and questioned the two concepts of ‘signified’ (concept) and ‘signifier’ (material): can one element change the whole, and, on another level, can the whole determine an action, a gesture?
