POEMS-OBJECTS
Each piece in the ‘Poems-Objects’ series has a narrative structure.

These objects are at the crossroads of craftsmanship and design: poem-objects. They combine lyricism and minimalism, abstraction and figuration, emotions and timelessness. I attach great importance to the whiteness of the pieces, as it gives the object coherence.
Based on the principle of ready-made art, for this series of vases we started with existing objects, which we repurposed. These objects, often kitschy, were refined, stripped down, cut up and pierced in order to create new objects without making new moulds.
“Reuse, Recompose, Recount” were our design rules.

An other type of transformation : Piercing.

The butterfly is rich in symbolism. For the ancient Greeks, it was a symbol of immortality. In modern times, it represents metamorphosis, but also the natural cycle (the seasons) and the cycle of life. It is worth noting that there is a close link between the fragility and beauty of the butterfly and that of nature.
