The purpose of the competition was to design a new glass for Bombay Sapphire cocktails. I had two ideas which become one project. First, I wanted to save place on shelves, so I decided to design a stackable glass. Then, of course I knew what is a Bombay Sapphire cocktail, but I wanted to add more possibilities. I decided to create a double side glass cocktail. First side is the classic cocktail and second side is the fountain cocktail. Last details, the glass stroke is also an olive hook.

When I knew that I was a finalist, Bombay Sapphire gave me 400 € to produce a prototype, which was nothing, compared to the complexity of the project. But after few phone calls, I went to Lyon suburbs, in France, meeting a glass expert : Mr Pierre PIGNAT, France best worker, scientific and artistic glassware.

Thanks to Mr PIGNAT we could produce two prototypes. They were exhibited during London Designer’s Day.
